Phineas Cole Spring 2013 details.

It’s often said that Paul Stuart shines most brightly in the Fall and Winter seasons.  Something about the rich, textured English Fabrics reminds people of the falling leaves and the impending colder months.

With Ralph Auriemma taking on an ever expanding role at Paul Stuart, we start to see his signature of visually interesting, tactile fabrics creep into the Spring 2013 lineup.  For instance, the nubby silk/wool/linen hopsack jackets above alongside super lightweight, smooth wool/cashmere blends and more business appropriate wool/silk fabrics.

Also interesting is the presence of a few new jacket models, the Michael and Lawton, one of which features a notch lapel.  Regardless of whether you consider Phineas wearable, I think Spring 2013 represents a renewed investment in a consistently inspiring brand.

Cue lack of interest because of #seriousness
